Bicycle Branding for Wholesale and Private Label Projects
Tovin Bike supports bicycle branding for importers, distributors, wholesalers and private label brands. Branding can be applied to mountain bikes, road bikes, electric bikes, fat tire bikes, folding bikes, city bikes and kids bikes, subject to the selected frame, finish and order specification.
A branding project may include frame logos, decorative decals, head badges, model labels, warning labels, barcode labels, instruction manuals, warranty cards and branded export cartons. These details are confirmed together with the bicycle specification so that the sample, bulk production and packaging follow the same approved identity.
Buyers requiring a complete product program can review our Custom / OEM service.
Artwork and Logo Information Required
For the initial review, buyers should provide the logo artwork in an editable vector format where possible. We also need the preferred logo size, colors, application positions and any reference images showing the intended visual result.
The following details should be confirmed before sampling:
- Logo artwork and approved colors
- Frame decal dimensions and positions
- Left-side and right-side layouts
- Head tube and model identification
- Warning and specification labels
- Barcode or destination-market information
- Manual and warranty card content
- Carton artwork and shipping marks
If final artwork is not available, a clear reference file can be used for the first layout discussion. Production artwork still needs to be checked and approved before logos, decals or printed materials are prepared.
Frame Decals and Position Confirmation
Logo size and placement must suit the available frame surface. Down tubes, top tubes, seat tubes, chainstays and head tubes have different shapes, clearances and visible areas. The final position may also be affected by cable routing, bottle-cage mounts, suspension structures or folding joints.
A digital layout can confirm the general size and position. A physical decal or finished frame sample is more suitable for checking color, alignment, edge clearance and overall appearance. The frame finish and decal effect should be reviewed together, especially for matte, gloss or multi-color designs.
Color development related to the frame and branding can be coordinated through Color & Finish Customization.
Product Labels, Manuals and Packaging Identity
Private label development extends beyond the main frame logo. A complete bicycle program may require model labels, warning information, barcode labels, assembly instructions, user manuals, warranty cards and branded cartons.
Buyers are responsible for confirming the required wording, language, barcode data and market-specific label information. We check the supplied files against the available product and packaging positions before production. Packaging artwork should also match the approved bicycle model, color and carton specification.
Detailed carton and labeling options are covered on our Custom Packaging & Labels page.
Sample Approval and Bulk Production Control
Branding is checked during sample development before bulk production begins. A standard sample normally requires around 7–15 days, while a customized sample commonly requires around 15–30 days depending on the bicycle, component availability, frame color and branding details.
Sample approval should cover:
- Logo size, color and position
- Decal alignment and surface appearance
- Model and warning labels
- Manual and printed inserts
- Barcode information
- Carton artwork and shipping marks
Logo complexity, the number of colors, special finishes and customized printed materials may affect setup cost, MOQ and lead time. Standard bicycle programs usually start around 100–300 pieces per model, while customized OEM programs commonly start around 300–1,000 pieces per model or color.
The approved artwork, sample and packaging files remain the reference for bulk production. Before packing, branding details are checked for placement, consistency, visible damage and correspondence with the confirmed order.
Information Needed for a Branding Quote
Please provide the bicycle type, estimated quantity by model and color, logo files, Pantone references, preferred branding positions, required labels, manual languages, barcode data, packaging artwork and destination market. These details allow us to review feasibility, prepare the applicable cost and confirm the next proof or sample step.
